I’ve been busy since I posted about the Quilt of Valor I completed. Three of my nieces had a form of graduation this past June so I made each of them a blanket. The quilt pattern is Jelly Roll Race. Lots of fun to make!
Erin is my oldest niece. This June she got her wings! She graduated flight attendant training and now she’s a flight attendant flying out of Dulles airport. She seems to be very happy in her new career and I’m very happy for her. I used Tula Pink fabric for her quilt.
My next oldest niece, Sarah, graduated from Poquoson High School in June. She graduated with highest honors and will be attending Old Dominion University in the fall. I made her quilt with Amy Butler fabrics.
My youngest niece, that lives in Virginia, is Lily. She graduated from Elementary school to Middle school. She’s growing up so fast!
I even made myself a quilt while I was in the Jelly Roll Race frame of mind. This is actually the first quilt I’ve completed for myself. I’ve gifted all the others that I’ve made. I used Tula Pink and Amy Butler fabric to make mine.
